Easter is Around the Corner!

In four Sundays we will be celebrating the passion and resurrection of our Lord Jesus. In Nashville, many people who do not go to church regularly will attend church on Easter Sunday. This year we are praying that God will draw many of these men and women to our church and see them commit their lives to Jesus.

We are having a Good Friday service at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th and having two worship services Easter morning at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. As is our tradition, we will be giving all attenders a free Easter picture of their family or friends to celebrate the day.

I am asking you to consider three things this Easter season.

First, would you pray with me for the salvation of men and women in this city. God desires that men and women be saved, and we believe that if we pray He will allow us partner with Him in seeing many people get saved this year. Will you join me by praying every day between now and Easter that, one, lost people will come to Jesus and two, on Easter many people will trust Christ.

Second, will you pray about whom you can invite to our church this Easter Sunday? There are many people in your circles of relationship who need Jesus. If you invite them to join you at Green Hills this Easter, they will probably attend with you. This is an easy opportunity for you to be an agent of change in someone’s life. Please partner with me in inviting as many people as possible to church that Sunday. I promise, we will have a service that will connect them with Jesus that will change their lives.

Third, would you consider serving in one of our two services on Easter Sunday? Because we anticipate a lot of people being there, we will need extra people to serve in our hospitality teams, kids ministry and parking teams. Could you worship an hour and serve an hour? I believe this is an easy way we can all play a role in this being the best Easter yet at Green Hills.

Thanks for being a part of our team! I am so excited for what God is doing at Green Hills. God is moving powerfully among us.

I  love you all,

Pastor Mike
