We Are

A sojourning community of imperfect, yet redeemed people walking by the power of the Holy Spirit; in line with the authority of scripture; united around the name and purpose of Jesus Christ.

We Exist

For the Glory of God by making disciples of all nations.

We Endeavor to See

Every person building Christ’s Church for Nashville and the nations.

Every Person

“Every Person” encompasses both the breadth and depth of our scope. It sketches the contours of our desire to see all people in the Nashville metropolitan area called back to God through the saving work of Jesus Christ.

And we do mean all people.

We take God seriously when He says he desires all people to be saved. We pray for nothing less than broad-sweeping spiritual revival that would so radically impact this city that onlookers would only be left to acknowledge, “only God could have done this.”

Further still, as ambassadors of reconciliation we desire to see a people comprised of all tongues, tribes, cultures, socioeconomic statuses, ages, and races worshipping and serving God together. We believe the church ought to be a hopeful glimpse of the reality that as followers of Jesus Christ, we are united together as a family under the Lord’s headship, regardless of status, background, or ethnicity.

Building Christ’s Church

If you could drill down to our core ambition it would be this: we long to see Christ’s church grow and flourish. And we remain relentless in our pursuit of building his kingdom. That is why we do not see ourselves merely existing as a singular church body that solely meets at 101 Bowling Avenue each Sunday, but rather as a catalyst for a disciple-making, church-planting, kingdom-building movement in our city for God’s glory.

We work not only to call every person back to God, but also to champion each person toward maturity in Christ. We believe every person has a critical role to play in building Christ’s church. Therefore, we work to train our imaginations according to what is in Christ, so that we may each see how we uniquely use our gifts and talents to call all people back to worship God by the power of Christ Jesus.

For Nashville and the Nations

We love Nashville. We love its people; we love its neighborhoods; we love its hills and trees, rivers, lakes, and streams. And we believe that the best thing for Nashville is the transforming presence of Jesus Christ existing within the body of his church. Our church labors to see this city renewed and redeemed by the power of a gospel-driven, church-planting movement. That is why we call every person toward maturity, living out their lives in such a way that they impact every thread of Nashville’s fabric for the revival and restoration of our city.

As we focus on Nashville, we continually keep an ever-watchful eye gazing outward toward the nations – those people in faraway lands whom have never heard the life-giving message of the gospel. As we build Christ’s church in Nashville, we are vigilant to raise up leaders who would advance the mission of the gospel beyond our city’s borders, so that the supremacy of Jesus’ name might also ring clear throughout our world.
